As tuition rises, more
people are turning to student loans. However, others have turned to the
internet to seek crowdfunding to pay for college. Some students who turn to
online crowdfunding have had major success. Yet, for every success story there
are many more student crowdfunding pages that follow. The problem is that many
of the crowdfunding pages receive little to no attention outside of the student’s
family and inner social circle. There could be an opportunity in helping these
students advertise and promote their pages.

A
growing body of research has shown that the first five years of life are the
most important period for human development. Florida itself also sees great
value in investing in early education. In hopes of brightening the state’s
future, the Florida Chamber of Commerce has included early childhood
development in its 2030 Goals chamber. This creates a need for early childhood
instructors, schools, and programs throughout Florida.

Residents
and business owners alike have been experiencing multitudes of power outages
around the intersection of Spring Hill Drive and Mariner Boulevard. The power
outages are a huge cost to businesses because they are either unable to
function or turn away customers. The current managers of the issue, Withlacoochee
River Electric Company (WREC) has been struggling to find a resolution to the
issue.
Hi Raymond,
ReplyDeleteThese are all great articles with opportunities. I found it difficult to find articles that didn't have to do with Hurricane Irma aftermath, but I'm glad you found a few. I think you're most interesting opportunity was number 4. Education before age 5 is definitely an interesting idea, however it comes with a lot of hardships. A lot of children are not fully potty trained before they begin kindergarten, and to have younger children in education before then means the care takers must be well equipped. Perhaps each program would need multiple teachers to accommodate the age and need of the children. The opportunity, as a business standpoint, is definitely huge.
Raymond,
ReplyDeleteI thought the articles that you chose were very interesting. Article number one stood out the most to me, I have noticed alot of people going down the road of using the internet to get a degree. It is very convenient for people and cuts costs for people in certain ways. Article number 4 was also really interesting, I think the way children are taught both educationally and life lessons at a young age is extremely important in their lives and makes an impact on their whole life.
